It has a quadrangular shape and has at its corners three round towers built of limestone resting directly on the rock and a square tower in the fourth northeast cornerInside there is a small church called Santa Maria a Castello, built by Count Roberto in 1116. We find an elongated rectangular body ending with a terrace that allows access to a large tower, known as the tower of Lucrezia, because it was one of the places where King Alfonso of Aragon preferred to stay with his favorite Lucrezia d&#8217;Alagno. The Castle owes its foundation to the Lombards ( Landone Matico second Count of Capua).
